The Career Place works with our sister center, Career Source, to serve the needs of the Metro North Region.

We partner with area businesses, service providers, schools, and community–based organizations in the Metro North Region and aim to help you make the best decisions for your future!
We work with the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) to provide special free services. Our outstanding staff can help connect you with training and work opportunities. We provide a technology-equipped resource room at the DTA office in Malden as well as the Woburn career center.
We provide computers that you may use to apply online for unemployment insurance. Unemployment Insurance Representatives from the Department of Unemployment Assistance are available to help with any questions – check their schedule to plan your visit.
